WB’s ‘Justice League Dark’ Is Set To Film in 2016!

According to a report from The Tracking Board, it is said that Warner Bros. is moving ahead with the ‘Justice League Dark’ movie. The film is said to be due to start production in 2016. It’s said that Guillermo Del Toro will no longer be attached to direct the film, he will still be serving as a producer. Scott Rudin will helm this film. It’s said that he has already been making some changes to the script, overlooking directors, etc.

This project has been rumored to be in development for years. Now, it’s finally coming to life! The film’s plot has been kept under the rug but the sources from Tracking Board say the following: “…it involves a series of ancient tomes stolen by a madman hellbent on the destruction of humanity. When he learns of this, occult detective John Constantine seeks out a group of heroes that specialize in the mystic and arcane in order to save the world.”

Del Toro has said that the team will most likely be made up of Constantine, Swamp Thing, Deadman, Zatanna, and Etrigan The Demon. Will this film be part of the DCEU? Possibly. More updates coming soon!
