Oscar Nominations: The Complete List

The much-anticipated nominations for the 96th Oscars were announced Tuesday morning by Actors Zazie Beetz and Jack Quaid , signaling the climax of an eventful movie-awards season. The announcement, which began at 5:30 a.m. PT, took place at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

A total of 23 categories are in the spotlight this year, following a cinematic year highlighted by the simultaneous release of “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer” — referred to as “Barbenheimer” — that have significantly influenced this year’s nominations.

International features like Justine Triet’s “Anatomy of a Fall” and Jonathan Glazer’s “The Zone of Interest,” which gained attention at Cannes, are also prominent in this year’s nominations.
