It has become known that Captain America: Civil War will pick up, where Age of Ultron left off. This is one of the reasons why I call it an unofficial Avengers 3 or maybe 2.8. Age of Ultron saw Steve Rogers and Widow left at the end to train a new group of Avengers. In that group was Scarlett Witch, Falcon, War Machine, & Vision. The Movie will also feature Hawkeye, Ant-Man, Black Panther, Ironman, Bucky, Agent 13, Spider-Man, & even Thunderbolt Ross from the Hulk.
There will be some surprises as well. There are also rumors of Captain Marvel being introduced as well in some capacity. So this movie will be packed to the gills and of your a comic book movie fan, you will love this film. The villains are said to be phenomenal and just as interesting as the Heroes.
The list of characters appearing in Civil War are ever growing. Here’s the current cast list so far- there are certainly more to come:
Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, and Martin Freeman.
This will no doubt be an action packed movie drawn from a fan favorite storyline, but what concerns if any show we as fans have for this film? Will it live up to the hype? How will the many characters fit into the story and who gets lost in the shuffle?
Captain America: Civil War is set for release on May 6, 2016.
