Marvel Studios Has The Rights To Namor!

According to an article on Comic Book Resources, Marvel Chief Creative Officer, Joe Quesada, confirms that Marvel Studios has the rights to Namor! Not only that but Quesada was recently on an episode of Kevin Smith’s ‘Fatman on Batman‘ where he confirmed this detail! You can check out the audio here. It starts around the 41:17 mark. Namor’s rights were confusing since reports indicated he was at Universal while others said he was at Fox due to his ties with the Fantastic Four. Smith asked Quesada about the situation and Quesada replied “I can’t speak for studios… As far as I know, yeah, we do. It’s not at Fox, It’s not at Sony… Yeah.” As for Namor appearing in the MCU, Quesada responded “I cannot confirm or deny, sir.” If Namor’s rights are truly back to Marvel Studios, this can mean that we might see him appear soon with The Avengers or possibly appear in any of the Netflix series.
