The Flash Season 2 To Explore Earth 2 Sooner Than Expected

Back in a flash, geeks! It appears that fans of Central City’s favorite Scarlet Speedster may just get to explore Earth 2 sooner than expected.

According to The Flash’s executive producer, Andrew Kreisberg, Barry may be travelling to Earth 2 early on in the second season of the popular DC Television show. This is good news just as The Flash handled the fun yet confusing concepts of time travel in it’s first season. Kreisberg clearly stated that the same would happen in the series when they will approach the concepts of parallel Earths.

“We’re trying to do the same thing this year with Earth 2 and the concept of the multiverse and the concept of dopplegangers,” Kreisberg told Entertainment Weekly. “We’ve been having a lot of fun with that and getting glimpses of Earth 2 probably sooner than people would’ve thought.”

This is very positive news for The Flash in light of the season two trailer which confirmed the appearance of Jay Garrick on the series. It is most likely possible that they are going for the New 52 route and making Jay an Earth 2 character. Aside from that it is unknown exactly what role he will play for Barry.
