Sony Releases New Film Slate

Sony has done it again with more news besides the dates for two Bad Boys sequels. The studio has publicized their entire 2016-2017 film slate.

According to sources at The Wrap, Sony is not only going to do two Bad Boys movies but they intend to also release a Jumanji movie, Barbie, Uncharted (based off of the popular video game series), as well as the live-action adaptation for Stephen King’s fantasy series The Dark Tower.

Additionally, Sony has made some minor tweaks to the previously stated dates. Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters reboot has moved up one week to 15 July 2016. Sony already has previously stated that the next live-action Spider-Man film for 28 July 2017 as well as Phil Lord and Christopher Miller’s animated Spider-Man film on 20 July 2018.
